Rapture snarled at the monsters facing him and his team. They laughed and started to attack them. In one swoop, Rapture slid under their stomachs and raked his claws across. They looked up with surprised faces - and then Rapture woke up.
"Another bad dream?" The coatl in the nest next to him said, who he determined to be Paint.
"Yes," He said, unsure of what had happened.
"They keep happening, all of them about my fighting days. I'm trying to be peaceful now.." Rapture told him with a heavy sigh.
"I understand," Paint murmured.
"But you shouldn't let it take away your sleep." He continued to say. Rapture nodded and hesitantly went back to sleep, his mind a dangerous sea.
But, when he went back to sleep, his mind was filled with another nightmare. This time, different.
A bad different.
Rapture was falling. He spread his wings to stop, only to find as he hovered, he was in a new area. The ground was black. Dragons lay all around him, and deep red blood seeped out from what seemed to be everything.
At once, all of the Dragons heads sat up and stared at him. They whispered something over and over, louder and louder.
"Look in the pools. Sink in the depths. Fall into his grasp. Look in the pools. Sink in the depths. Fall into his grasp." They repeated, over and over.
Rapture sat down, staring at the floor with his wings wrapped around his head. He started to tear up, but his tears were blood. He sat up and tried to fly away, but everytime he would end up where he was before.
He finally stumbled over, looking into the deep depths of the red blood. He blacked out.
When he woke, he was in a void, floating in the nothingness.
The void suddenly turned the deep red of the blood, and a vantablack dragon appeared before his eyes. The dragon had no eyes, but they opened and turned into an icey blue color.
Rapture woke up.
Something was different....
He was Shade-Touched.
