She thought Winespouth was too dull, and set her sights on Fluteth. However, he was too devoted to CC to be anything other than impersonally polite. She'd never been refused! She wouldn't take no for an answer, and cast a tricky enchantment, so that when next she approached him, she presented the look and feel of the Fae he knows and loves. After a battle gone wrong (she claimed) she just wanted comfort... while CC was still out and hard at it. He was fooled, and she left with his eggs, feeling smug.

It may be that the joke's on her though... Her daughter was horrified to uncover this deception, due to her admiration of the hardworking Fae her mother crossed, and was quick to train and head out, as far as she could get, before she said something to give the secret away and create a bad scene. Her son... is not the brightest of individuals. He likes nothing more than crushing fruits with his paws, helping Winearcanath in her work. Odd how he was drawn to another little pink Fae, no? Funny, she happens to be CC's mother ...
