Biography

Ashes once ruled this land
a haunted place of fire

Hot winds and savage heat
cascaded from the mountain's spire

Bubbling and flowing
taking sucking life into its heart

For years nothing grew here
and one dragon knew it was time to do his part

So savage winds he tried to blow with magic and wish wing
All that resulted was the sound of rocks that sing

They whistled and howled as the winds swept by
But there seemed to be nothing that this dragon could bring

He grew tired and as his winged drooped
the heat called to him too and called away his youth

Lower and lower he came to the ground, until the heat reached his paws
And it was there he finally learned the truth

Twas all an illusion, this heat and fire
A vision made by the dragon who lived atop the spire
