When Abajo was born, he couldn't see anything. His wings also were tinier than from normal hatchlings. Dragons said he must have been cursed by the Plaguebringer, showing something like a bad omen. His parents abonded him, but luckely he got adpoted by the king of the nest. The shamans tried everything in their power they could do. Their goal was to give him his eyesight back, but it didn't work out well. After the ritual was done, his eyes changed completely. Months passed and Abajo seemed not to grow at all, but the hatchling was very healthy on the other side. No dragon was sure if it was a curse or a bless.
The king and the queen decided that the hive will take care of him, saying that not all abnormalities must mean bad things.
