Gardener And Rose King
"To see a world like none other, is it really worth the pain?"
Vermillion is a remorseful coatl who's colors have started to dull, the only thing keeping him from being considered ill is the shiny scales he still maintains. His runes faintly glow still, holding the hidden, cryptic text of: "Give, all. King savior. Upon call, wait, stay, never move, roses. Care." Only he and a few others can still read the fading runes. In an in-depth description Vermillion says that it really means "We will give all to our king, they are our savior. We call upon you in our time of need Rose King! We will wait for you, we will stay here for you. We are the roses that you care for."
He is a gardener who tends mostly to the delicate roses that other dragons just can't seem to take care of themselves. Being the king of roses is no easy task, he must keep them in check constantly and grow them in places where they can populate without some random getting angry.
His banner has the words "Rose King" over the rose print and a constant gathering of petals, leaves, and grass flutter around him in a dance that never ends. The pinch of thorns doesn't bother him, Vermillion finds such thorns to be a part of the beauty in roses, after all- beauty cannot come without a little pain. The light on his bulb flickers, still holding its own will to live despite being close to death as well.
As the years have gone by, he cannot manage to gain his own form a lift and uses a pair of golden steampunk wings to assist him in flying, though he doesn't prefer flying as his main form of travel.
He wishes the others outside the barrier could come join him and the others, it's a shame that they are part of the Refused. He never understood why he was considered part of the True and wishes not to be part of the fuel to a hivemind much bigger than him. He constantly has questions revolve around his mind. "Who is controlling some of them? Why? What does it seek? Where does it live and how? I wonder, what's it like to hide away from the world, just to find pleasure in stealing the minds of others for your own enjoyment?"
