Hemlock

You follow Hemlock through a long tunnel with a light at the end. Eventually, as you grow closer, the light overwhelms you and when you open your eyes and step through you're standing in a room full of plants with light coming in from holes in the roof. You blink, awed at the sight of daylight even deep in the Underground as Hemlock begins to speak. "Welcome to the garden. I was ecstatic when I a place down here that could support plant life without out too many artificial lights," she says, her voice raspy and strained even know, but very clearly joyful. She then reaches up to her face and slowly slips the mask from her face. "It's also the only place down here I feel like I can breathe clearly."

You look around as she continues, she herself looking over many of the plants. "I'm a botanist at heart, you know. It's always been a big passion of mine. Most dragons look over plants like these, thinking there's nothing to them, but they can be very complex, too, you know," she says, stroking one of the broad leaves of a strange flowering plant you've never seen before. She moves over to one with bright red flower. "Like this one. They're so hard to keep, but the flowers that bloom are just so beautiful. Just seeing them feels like an accomplishment, since neglected plants rarely flower." She gently takes a petal from one of the flowers. "That, and their petals are very good for sweetening things without sugar."
