My life used to be content in the very past, after I was adopted into a Clan that I quickly grew fond of. Though, fate had decided that it wasn’t right for a small Plague home to live peacefully.
One could say it all happened in a blink of an eye; an ambush of mostly Spirals suddenly threw themselves at us, either using claws or unseen magic to easily take everyone down. Before I could move, some dragon much larger then me pinned my whole self into the soon to-be bloody ground. Shaking off the shock before they could anything else, I used all of my strength I could muster, and shoved the enemy off of me. Wether that choice was a life saver or better option then living anymore, I had no care in it, even when the rivaling Tribe took me and a few other members with them to their Kingdom.
Despite the shock from before slowly growing more in my heart, I didn’t think I would be out there, under the stars, tonight. I survived with few dragons, but at what cost, our Queen has been vanquished. The next day, Meyry was waiting for my arrival, and merely studied my whole appearance once I was within eye sight of her. “Tell me,” she said, breaking the silence, “Are you willing to become a part of our renowned warriors?” That was last I’ve heard her speak to me, since the choice I made wasn’t her favored one.
Swiftly I was escorted out of her Kingdom and to the edge of a cliff, being told from the guards to take the plunge into the crystal water down below. Sink or swim. But when it came down to it, I soared, making a final decision that I will keep living to avenge my fallen Queen and leader.

To any dragon, catching an un-curable disease or mutation is a life-long curse to them, and Fthora was sadly born with a never ending disease, fully given to her by her father. Constantly having a feeling that tiny claws or bugs are eating away at your scales and flesh sounds like a death sentence, though the Guardian was able to withstand it, and even outlive it to the point that this infection has dramatically slowed down to a near halt, but the pain can never be stopped. Was her determination to live a sign from the Deity, or was she just lucky enough to have a longer life unlike other Plaque-ridden hatchlings and dragons? No one will ever truly know.
The decision to join the Kingdom has always been a blessing since then, since Romaria has mentioned to her that the King is severely strict on certain elementals such as Plague, and hardly lets any Plaguelings fully live here. Luckily for the Guardian, she easily followed in the other’s ways of a personality, being considerate, quiet, and on rare times, social to others. Along with that, she occasionally enjoys to play her bone harp either alone or around others, despite the awkward and broken notes coming from it, the sound help ease her down from any negative emotions.
Unlike any Plague-borns using their element for rotting and mutations in a sickly matter, Fthora has learned a different meaning for the element that is almost the opposite of that. Though the plague is terrifying and brutal, it can also be peaceful in a way for certain situations, such as anyone suffering and not being able to recover; with the right infection applied to them, they will have a faster and possibly easier way of passing away instead of leaving in a slow and painful way. Another way the Rep has been studying to use her element is by having it be turned into a remedy, for any elementals that aren’t Plaguelings; even though that already seems impossible, she won’t ever give up, since Dazzle secretly supports her every time the Guardian starts a new project.
