Piper is one of the Matriarch's courtiers and is most often found in the company of Yuki and Luna, whom act as Phen's keepers while Lacrimosa is away.

She can be bull-headed and fussy, especially when it comes to dealing with individuals she's not particularly fond of. Originally, she had intended to be a scout to work with Pippin and Cake, but she quickly found herself at odds with the duo and lost all interest in following them around.

To those that she favors, she can be a valuable and ever-present friendly face. She is endlessly curious and somehow always ends up wherever something interesting is happening. She is the first to greet the Matriarch upon her return from traveling, eager to learn new tidbits of information and see the treasures Lacrimosa brings home.
Piper is named for and modeled after my turquoise Indian Ringneck parrot, who was hatched in spring of 2016.
