She had no one. Her family was involved in an accident. Torn, battered and ripped apart by the light scholars who claimed to be the angels spreading truth and knowledge. Yet, they knew nothing about their lives. Spending her whole life in the shadows, Kuchisake knew all her life was gloom and bleak. But at least, at least life was rather peaceful and quiet. It was nothing like those described by the Acolytes, who have demonised the Gooplings since the second age. They had tight knit communities in the Obscured Cresent, cooking fish caught nearby. They had campfires too, and spoke of wild, bizzare tales. Life was simple.

She never thought much about it. Now, she feels extremely lonely. Her old home was evicted, taken away and cleaned up. It was where the dead bodies of her three children and husband were buried. It was now taken away from her. Light, the supposed role model of the world, had their own issues too. The Obscured Cresent is now regulated by such invaders. She never liked how well received Acolytes were. But all these are now history. She now has to fend for herself in the grim woods in the outskirts of the Shadow plains. She has made friends with pixes and fireflies whom she knows will never betray her. She is at peace again, for now.

Occasionally, she'll cry out black goo which she had never experienced before. Sometimes she cries uncontrollably for no reason, worn down by her sluggish body, draining from exhaustion. She'll drown and sink the shadow plains at this point. All around her was a plain void, black and empty.
