His feathers always ruffled, eyes always tired but wide with excitement, Gizmo is the Clan of the Blue Moon's mad scientist. Originally from the Lightning flight, Gizmo moved to the Sunbeam Ruins to study the ruins and look for possible ancient technology. He talks at a pace that puts Spirals to shame and makes it nearly impossible for anyone to understand him. Sometimes Sprocket wonders if she is less of a mate and more of an interpreter. He is easily embarrassed, and when he gets embarrassed he gets flustered, causing him to talk even faster. Tip: Don't embarrass this dragon.

The Clan is intrigued by his strange technology from the Shifting Expanse, but a few dislike it. The Clan prefers magic to technology, even though they lack members from the Arcane flight.

His best friend is Espresso. Gizmo is one of the few dragons that can understand the coffee-fueled Spiral's rapid speech. What is with all these hyper Lightning dragons?

Gizmo left his mate and a clutch of eggs to try to find the secret to immortality. He came close but woke up outside the forest with a terrible headache and shattered wings. He will never fly again. Gizmo doesn't talk about his time in the forest.

-Fairie Forest Storyline-
Gizmo is a spirit, caught halfway between life and death. He can never leave the forest, and though he is with friends he wishes he could have seen his mate one last time.
