Cassandra

The Red Lady

Cassandra is, for lack of a better word, a mystery. Making her home in the Focal Point of Arcane territory, her tower is very hard to miss- the small, ancient Pearlcatcher keeps to herself, coming down to the marketplaces and caverns of the Windswept to do business and buy the things she needs. The red chains on her wings rattle and give away her position consistently, but if someone asks about them, she will shake her head and mutter something about side effects of magic. Despite the chains making her unable to fly, she can control the blood red ruby shards on them as a sort of magic as well- Most often, she encases her claws in them, and climbs her way back to her home.

Whispers are abound in the clan whenever Cassandra visits. Most are curious, some are terrified. She seems to have a keen hatred of Zero, the Mirror seeming quite confused as to who she even is- Whenever Cassandra even gets a glimpse of him, expect her to launch shards of red at him, shrieking about a curse and a child. He mostly dodges and ignores it, but it has caused suspicion of both of them all throughout the clan. Nobody can decide who’s right and who’s not, and it seems to be driving a rift through the more gossipy members of the clan.

Her many eyes are watchful, and her blood red pearl always clutched close. Cassandra offers services in divination and scrying for her pittance, but she’s never one to talk much with her clientele. Using her many magic hands, she gathers what she needs from her shelves, holding herbs and books galore and never once dropping them. Though she may be a mystery, The Red Lady is gentle with her clientele, and speaks in a soothing, quiet voice to outsiders. She offers to those lost a stay in her tower, though they are never allowed in the upper levels- All of her more powerful things are up there, she says, and she doesn’t want anyone to meddle and potentially hurt themselves.
