Isola di Fiammata was a perfect place to live. If it weren't for the guardian spirit of the volcanic island that detested water. While the little imp seemed to be okay with the occasional rain, larger bodies of water was definitely not okay. But dragons need water, be it to drink, cook, produce things or just watering their crops.
So someone has to keep the water safe and clean the oceans water to be drinkable. That's when Tethys comes into the picture. Even though she isn't a water dragon, she mastered the magic of controlling Water and cleaning it. No one really knows anything about her. She keeps to herself and doesn't talk about her past.But no one questions her, because they depend on her to survive.

So day for day Tethys has to deal with the little imps pranks and the increasing demand for water. One might think this could get tiresome or aggravating, but no one ever heard her complain.
