Colada joined the weyr at the same time as her friends; Quinlan, and Daiquiri. The trio had grown up together after each of them were abandoned by their previous weyrs in some way. Despite how they all came from different clans, the three acted as siblings towards one another, and settled down in Kepi's tribe after a long stint on their own in the various other territories.

Colada loves the tropical feel of the outer banks where she has set up shop. While Quinlan paints and sculpts various masterpieces to sell, Daiquiri helps Colada run the shop in between her own duties. Colada believes that she is one of the luckiest dragons alive
