Unlike his father, Volitient is open and friendly, often out with the other guild members. Training with them or just enjoying a good night in the tavern, sharing stories of their most recent missions. And oh boy does he have stories to tell. The ridgeback is an experienced adventurer and he has faced and defeated many dangers. He loves to tell others what happened, but Volitient never brags.

Volitient was born in the guild and it has always been a big part of his life. He maybe doesn't know any other life, but he doesn't mind.

The Guild is his life and as the future Guild Master, he has no choice to quit. Volitient is fiercely loyal to the cause and nothing is going to change that. He is also loyal to his friends and especially his mate, Jenova. The two can often be seen training together, throwing friendly banter at each other.

Volitient's back spines are festering and coated in a similar substance that is found from the Wyrmwound. It's harmless for him, but an excellent defence mechanism against his enemies. The liquid irritates enemies and prolonged exposure might make their movements sluggish.

But only temporarily. He often doesn't have to rely on that though, as Volitient is an excellent swordsman and it is often enough to bring down his enemies.
