Gwaiyn was born full of a sense of purpose, an intrinsic knowledge of Earth and Fire and how they meet to form and shape metal. As soon as he was old enough, he left his home clan in Earth and traveled Sorneith searching for a forgemaster who could tap into his prodigious potential. He found a fellow Earth dragon, also Born of the molten Core, who instantly recognized Gwaiyn's talent. He has been fetching resources, refilling water and oil barrels, and lighting the forge embers in the smithy at the White Tower ever since.
