냉기를 다루는 마법사는 그 마법처럼 차가울 것 같지만 실제로 율리치를 만난 사람들은 그의 온화한 분위기에 놀라곤 합니다. 그의 온화함은 괴짜가 많은 마법사 사이에서 더욱 두드러집니다. 율리치가 인상을 쓰거나 언성을 높이는 일은 거의 없습니다. 그는 세상의 모든 것에 가치가 있다고 생각하기 때문에, 쉽게 화를 내거나 실망하지 않습니다. 고요한 평정심만큼은 얼음의 마법사 다운 면이죠.

율리치는 별에서 가장 추운 북쪽에서 태어났습니다. 추위가 잠시만 머무르는 지역들과 달리 1년 내내 두꺼운 눈으로 덮여있는 곳이었죠. 이곳애서 냉기를 다루는 마법사가 태어난건 그리 달가운 일은 아니었습니다. 추위는 어디에나 있었으니까요. 하지만 율리치는 생각이 달랐습니다. 그의 눈에 끝없이 펼처진 눈밭은 너무나 아름답고 포근했으니까요. 율리치는 살이 에이는 차가움 속에서 온기를 발견했고 사람들에게 나눠주기로 결심했습니다.
