Though young and rather inexperienced, Tenebris is a bright young mage, especially skilled in illusions and healing. Found by Lupa during an excursion into the Tangled Wood, she quickly attached herself to the battle-toughened skydancer and became an eager apprentice, much to her compatriot's reluctance. Though having spent most of her young life traveling in a caravan with her shadow clanmates and then with the Outpost's nomadic explorers, she took quickly to life at the Outpost, enjoying the life of travel and adventure many of its residents led. She'll always hold a special fondness for her first friend, though!

Tenebris, or Tennie to her friends, is an excitable young mage, eager to see new things and perfect her art. The Outpost's first shadow flight member, the coatl mage Griffith helped instruct her in magic, despite their elemental differences. In turn, she quickly adopted the coatl's humming tongue, and frequently mixes it in with her own speech, much to many of her clanmates' annoyance. While Griffith just sighs and rolls his eyes at her, Zessi never misses a chance to play along and usually responds by mimicking Tenebris for the rest of the day, to her obvious delight.

Corven emissaries have adapted to the unpredictable and superstitious customs of the Tangled Wood. Tarot readings are a popular bartering tool with dragons who are parting with food and supplies. (Trickmurk Circus 2019 Holiday Item)

and pranks, especially on unsuspecting clanmates.

While nobody at the Outpost can truly say they dislike this cheerful nocturne, her closest friend would probably be Lupa (though the serious skydancer would never admit it). Lupa first met her while trading for some supplies with a local shadow caravan, and the young mage was more than eager to bombard the strange dragoness with questions about life outside of the woods. A few minutes later and with well-wishes from her clan, she was very begrudgingly taken under the skydancer's wing and taken along with them on their excursion. While her traveling companions thought it was hilarious, Lupa tried very hard not to get attached. It did not work.
