Ori

A shining beacon in the most blinding of snowstorms, an angelic figure in a despair-ridden frozen wasteland, a bringer of both protection for wayward travelers and wandering figures with good intentions in their hearts and justice for those oppressed by invaders or crooked gaol runners, Ori Frostglint called by his peers as the Snow Angel, Guardian of the Icefields, was born in the land of Ice but raised in the land of Light. He has since devoted himself to a life of righteousness, and uses his sense of compassion he learned from the Light dragons and the sense of justice he instinctively had as an Ice dragon to protect travelers in blizzards, especially given the program in which refugees of the diminishing icefields are welcomed into the territory of the Morning Rose Tribe.

Birthplace:

Ori is a dragon of action, and does not stand idly by when someone is in need. While he is a powerful caster in his own right, he is rather impulsive, boldly charging headfirst into a scenario where others would think twice. As such, he does not fear the strongest of squalls, nor does he falter when such frigid winds threaten to sweep him into the sky and tear him apart, and through it all, his resolve to protect and rescue travelers is absolute, and his golden feathers and gleaming armor are a signal of hope for dragons in peril.
Aside from being the Morning Roses' guide during diplomacy missions in the Southern Icefields, he is also a part-time mercenary, if only to bring those who do evil to justice. With this, he shares many traits in common with King Maelstrom, and a part of him does wish to be his apprentice, but a part of him feels he has no place to ask to be such a dragon's protege.
While he is seen as a brave hero in the Sunbeam Ruins, Ori has developed a sort of Robin Hood reputation in his birthplace, somewhat of a legend with ambiguous stances. On one hand, he has defended the Ice dragons from the Lightning and Fire conquerors, but on the other, he had the gall to swear allegiance to the Lightweaver instead of the Icewarden, and as such the Gaolers aren't considered his friends, especially if they ever wrongfully imprison a dragon. He is on alright terms with the Gaolers of the Morning Rose Tribe, albeit it's because they are clanmates.

Geula, though that wasn't her original name, is a harpy mercenary that initially allied herself with Ori due to her grudge against corrupt dragonclans encroaching on her home, but grew to genuinely care for her ally anyway. She's since changed her name after joining the Roses' clergy (as a sort of tradition) and aids Ori in the cause of justice.
