Calypso

The dragon gave a snort, his neck being held up as if he was being insulted.
"A merchant? Why would a dragon of my battling capabilities try to be something as low and as boring as selling items when I can repesent the Serpentine Alliance through ferocity and strength. Arcanist knows why my mother had eggs with that dragon, always mumbling about manners and that." He gave a long flick of his tail, fins raised and he gave a glance to the side, you could tell he was hiding something, and with a bit of a push you managed to get it out.
"Okay, when I was a foolish dragonet I tried to help him out with recording some history of sales. Then some dragon intrested in a cloak we aquired said ''Your apprentice there is doing well, I assume he'll be your future scholar?''
How dare that dragon call me an 'Apprentice' and say I'm a good 'Scholar'! Any dragon could tell my life was meant for war and ferocity! No life could be so low as just recording details on scrolls for the rest of my life! My father simply turned and laughed at me, like it was a funny joke or it was something I was already doing. I knew from that moment on I couldn't stay with my joke-of-a-father much longer. I stormed out and made myself Crescent's apprentice, so I would always be repesenting my clan the right way. And from those days onward, I stayed far from my horrific father."
The dragon exhaled sharply as he finished, as if he had took a heavy load off his chest. He gave a gulp and repositioned himself, and kept his wing-banner drapes high.
"Don't tell any dragon about this okay? It's a family problem."
And with that, the mirror snaked away to his den.

(Oh my gosh that was so fun to write! I can't wait to continue doing all my dragon's lore, I actually came up with that only from his personality + rank, so yeah. I need to work on this guy more!)

Calypso has a very tough exterior but beneath that are many small insecurities. A recent one has been cooking, he can never seem to perfect the art as much as he tries. Everything either turns out burnt or far too salted. To hide this from others he just eats most of his food plain, sure it does't taste as good but it helps with the tough, hardened outer-shell.
