Biography
BIOGRAPHY
Algalon and his mate, Mesmer , are two of the most notorious con artists on the whole of Sornieth. Algalon first began the trade during the Trickmurk Circus, seeing potential in the dozens of wealthy dragons flocking to the event, he set up his own tent performing hypnosis and other shady magic tricks - all the while pick-pocketing the audience. This was not to the full extent, however. He often selected the wealthiest dragons as volunteers, hypnotizing them and in-bedding in their minds trigger words that when spoken would cause that dragon to steal large amounts of treasure for him.
The reason behind this was to cover his own tracks, if they simply handed over their own treasure there would be no doubt as to what had happened. If an already rich dragon stole another dragon's treasure then they would be questioned as to where their wealth actually came from - making them the prime suspect.
One year Algalon was visited by the travelling fortune-teller, Mesmer. Entranced by her beauty he begged her to become his Assistant, teaching her the tricks of his trade. Little did he know this was all her plan as she herself often used her beauty to gain wealth and learn the mysteries of other criminals. This was to backfire as she soon fell in love and released Algalon from her spell. The two reached a mutual understanding and decided to continue their trade , Mesmer adding her talents to the act, until they were caught out after ten years of success.
They fled to the Outcast clan and now work as part-time parents and part-time thieves.
