Biography
Forest made her home among the bramble-covered trees, where she spends her time tending to the glowing mushrooms and twisted vines. Her greenhouse home blends right into the landscape.
She likes to befriend the critters that crawl within the shadows.
Although arcane in birth, she'd never quite felt like she belonged on the rocky outcrops the arcane dragons called home.
The exposure, the openness, the empty sky at that certain time of night...
She'd been having nightmares, or more specifically one recurring nightmare. In her dream, the sky above her home opened up, a massive black hole tearing through it like a rip in the very fabric of the world. From that tear, a darkness poured forth, swallowing up the landscape, and all the dragons within it.
One night, after a particularly specific rendition of the nightmare where the darkness had fallen from the sky and enveloped everything in its wake, swallowing the arcane dragons and their home like an enormous shadowy beast, Forest awoke in a panic. She could not stay here. Her nightmare was becoming more and more frequent... something terrible was coming and she was not safe. Nobody was safe so long as she was here where it could see her... and she could feel it watching, like a thousand tiny eyes somewhere up above the strange clouds that drifted around The Observatory.
And so she made her decision that night, and fled her home while the others slept, in search of cover, where the darkness in the sky could not find her.
She found her way to the Tangled Wood, slowly setting an area aside the call her own, and settled in quickly.
Her home was small, but she was comfortable.
At least now the darkness wouldn't find her.
Nobody would.
