Lucifer, the fallen angel of myth. Some may not know the name, but to others, it rings clear. On a day of blazing heat, a water egg was found by just a mere hatchling, washed up on the rocks. Some accounts say it was hot to the touch. It took days to hatch, only shaking and shivering with a sign of life after it had been cared for almost a week. When the creature emerged? Nothing was quite like what came from that barnacle-encrusted shell.
A Coatl, ash-ridden with embers spewing out of it's smiling snout. His tongue whipped a flame. The feathers that should have been wet with egg residue fluttered freely with the heat of flames keeping them dry. This being was a devil. They called him Lucifer.
