Biography

Well, even if it is a boring musty old room, there's got to be some treasure or gems heaped up somewhere. You poke about the room, determined to find some sign or odd curiosity.

You heave open a particularly large golden chest, finding a trapdoor within. Descending down the ladder, you emerge into a large room. Shelves stretch towards the ceiling, full of books and strange concoctions stored in jars or bottles. A book has been left out near the chest, flipped open to one page...

Loki - The Fire Bringer

Loki is a god in Norse mythology. He most often plays the role of a trickster and has been known to shapeshift into various creatures in order to further his mischief. Loki is independent, sometimes working for and other times against other gods. Many theorize that Loki's gender is fluid, pointing out the ease, frequency, and casualty with which he shapeshifts into female forms even when such a form is unnecessary to fulfill his plans, as evidence. Loki's name and origin is a much-debated topic, with speculations ranging from Loki's role as a god of fire to his being another form of Lucifer, an anti-Christ. No matter the theory, it appears that Loki's mysterious unknowns remain in modern times.

"Interesting, isn't it?"

The voice shakes you from your reading. You turn to find yourself snout-to-snout with a grand black and gold muzzle. Your eyes travel across his face, taking in the curling golden horns and softly feathered wings. Most notable are his eyes: piercing, cold, and the color of ice shards.

"Not to worry," the dragon purrs luxuriously, "We've been waiting for you." With a grand sweep of the wing, he guides you along the bookshelves, occasionally pointing out a particularly notable title. He stops in the middle of the aisle, observing you with a curious eye. "Well, then, you seem to be a bright young thing," he muses, half to himself. "Why don't you have a pick?" He gestures towards two books, both bound with black leather gilded in gold and seemingly identical at first glance.
