Biography
Night was Morph’s mate until he decided to betray the Guardians and secretly planned to team up with Beast Clans to destroy the Flights one by one. When his plot was discovered by young Olive, she was called a hero and Morph was driven out to the desolate lands of the Scattered Plains. When asked to go with him, she outright refused, although it tore her heart to pieces to let him leave without her. Morph stormed out of the clan, swearing vengeance, and was never seen again. Night was left all alone... She now resides, possibly permanently, in the Cave of Shadows, nicknamed “The Cave of Sorrows” because of the wailing that you can here at night. And because she was the mate of a traitor, and “the mate of a traitor must suffer,” Or at least that was what Phthalo had said, she was dragged here, screaming and begging for mercy, by Boulder and Phthalo. The other Guardians refused to take part in the ordeal, claiming that she should not be blamed for Morph’s actions, and the only dragon that they should blame is Morph for betraying the Flights and what they stand for. She was flung into the cave, and then left there. She gets a daily serving of stale meat and a small cup of water. She is closely guarded by Bone, the Graveyard Guardian. Night has given up almost all hopes of escape, and now just lies, a heap of skin, scales, and bones, on the cold hard floor of the cave, barley even having the strength to do more then softly moan..
Lore of the Cave of Shadows:
This is the place where dragons who have done wrong, but not enough to get them exiled. This is if they have, for example, injured a fellow dragon, stolen food, been mates with a traitor, etc. Night is the only one residing there now, and you can here her wails of grief and pain at night, which will send a shiver down the backs of even the most cold hearted dragons.
(Note: Eventually I'll probably give her a happy ending!)
