  • dives for food, spears large fish with his spines and facial horn
  • talks to himself and the few cold weather crabs when scouting the beaches and reefs
  • very particular about keeping his scales clean
  • often uses snow to clean grime off him
  • enjoys flying at the summit of the mountains, crisp winds from The Windswept Plateau flowing south to lift his wings
  • visits the Gaoler villages to the north for supplies, when he must
  • he doesn't mind his lack of company, instead finding great peace in solitude
