Axolotls are an endangered species capable of regeneration of its extremities as well as neoteny: the procreation while in its larval state. Of course, adult axolotls exist (but let's pretend this species is forever in larval form even when the Fae grows up). In the Water Flight, there have been tries to reintroduce this species back into the wild. Due to its sensitivity to light and sound, but its preference for more shallow water, habitats are hard to come by
