Kili left her homeclan, the Highland Refuge, to make a name for herself. She showed prowess with her parents' shadowy light magic, but not enough to be the new goddess foretold by their prophecies. This only strengthened Kili's desire to prove her worth. Settling with the Tabemono, a Highland Refuge ally, she swore to convert the entire clan to her parents' cult: Twilight Haven. So far, Kili's efforts have garnered mixed results. Her telling of the search for Azura, a new deity who will rule with unprecedented compassion, just doesn't strike a chord with these woodsy folk. Surrounded by this hungry maze of a forest, whatever faith the Tabemono have has been given over to the trees. Still, Kili's brilliant marketing schemes draw out even the most reclusive members of the clan. She hosts cookouts, public readings, and magic demonstrations—all free to attend. Kili's in it for social rather than monetary capital. To staff these events, Kili conjures wispy apparitions. These also help maintain the stained-glass temple Kili calls home, a structure that was created by fellow Refuge craftsman Ophion as a gift between the two clans. As long as dragons keep coming, Kili will keep pestering Citrine for more Clan Wellness funding. That said, there is one dragon who vehemently detests all that Kili stands for. Laurie, disillusioned with the elemental deities and their practices, is equally—if not more—suspicious of Kili's god. Although Kilisa, born to Alma and Ata of the Highland Refuge, showed promise, she did not fulfill the prophecy that the two saw. Regardless, she is a strong Light magic user, and an asset to any clan that would have her. While still uniquely talented with Twilight magics, Kilisa harbors a great guilt that she did not meet the standards her parents had set. She seeks to assuage this by recruiting others to the Twilight Haven, even going so far as to leave the clan to do so. She is quite serious, never letting down her guard for anyone who is not part of the cult she was born into.
