Cool spends his excess energy sketching, painting or sculpting. He feels more in control when he is creating something beautiful.

All spirals are filled with energy, but Cool is even more squirmy than most. His mind as well as his body seem consumed with whirlwind ideas and thoughts and impulses. Sometimes the urges almost seem like outside influences trying to get him to move, to act, to GO. When he was younger, Cool had trouble finding a place that could deal with his erratic nature. Always he had the feeling he was annoying those who didn't have his boundless energy. Because of this, the spiral moved from lair to lair quite often... never feeling quite at home. On one of his journeys, Cool was lucky enough to stumble across several energetic young ones frolicking in the pristine sand of a protected bay. Nearby a dragon was shaping clay with their claws. They invited Cool to sit down and get to know everyone... but after a short bit, the spiral again felt the need to move. Trying to conceal it, he began recreating the sculpted object in his new friend's hand by molding the wet sand. Several moments later, Cool was quite surprised to be the center of attention as his recreation was exclaimed over. And the dragon realized he had not felt so peaceful and quiet as he did when he was molding the sand. One thing led to another, and Cool found art. It let him channel his energies and thoughts and brought beauty and joy into the world. After staying with his new friends for a while, and learning how to deal more easily with new situations and creatures through his art, Cool decided he wanted to travel and encounter new sights and people to work into his art. A desire for underwater relics led him to the lair he currently occupies, and he's making new friends quickly with his sweet personality and his devotion to beauty. |
