Starstream

bombastic flair with vibrant hue,
a wardrobe full of garments new,
taking pride in shining jewels
with sparkling eyes that beauty fuels.

quite the social butterfly
that flutters 'round as days go by,
the life of parties, that's for sure,
whose smile might outshine his couture!

though his class is of the poor,
starstream dreams of something more:
luxury, and finer things
just waiting to adorn his wings;

for this is what his family's sought,
entire lives spent wanting not:
scarce a penny to their name,
that hindered starstream's dreams of fame.

years would pass and he would work,
despite the risk failure would lurk -
but effort shines through troubles true,
as precious gems and diamonds do.

today, he's gathered with his friends,
adorned with glamour, met his ends,
made his parents gleam with pride,
and now sets forth with cheerful stride.
