It was about flesh; tearing it apart and knitting it back together. An endless cycle to fight for the god that promised everything yet brought the plague. Somewhere along the path she stopped seeing gods, and started seeing monsters. And then nothing at all. Her path ended so she carved a new one. Her heart stilled so she grew a new one. Her eyes were blinded so she helped grow a garden, and if along the way she stumbled upon a new definition of home, then maybe the longing in her heart would hurt a little bit less.
