The flowers shrivel and curl at the hatchling’s talons, but he doesn’t seem very cautious about it. Rather, he looks quite content pacing through the forest, ears twitching at the nearest sound. Pakele had warned him not to trail off too far; but frankly, the plague dragon felt like he was overreacting. Afterall, with his skills, he could take down any dragon or beast who dared intrude on him-!

He nearly jumps when he hears a noise from behind him, quickly turning around and holding out his claws as though to protect himself… only to watch as a strange looking mouse scurries from the grass pass the dirt road. After a moment, he allows himself to relax, taking a relieved breath.

Right, what was he thinking about…?

Ah! Yes! His abilities were unlike any other…
