An aspiring seeress with a gentle heart, Asrai is an ardent follower of Nereus. The only problem with her aspirations is that she has no clairvoyance to speak of. Strange, cryptic dreams, yes- but visions? None.

Asrai first met Nereus when he and his troupe passed through her clan-town on a quest for what they had termed as 'a pearl of the mind'. The phrase had apparently come to Nereus in one of his visions of the future and he had been searching for this 'pearl' since then. He spotted Asrai at total random while perusing the local finery in the open air market that the town had to offer; He immediately declared that she was the pearl of the mind they'd been looking for.

Asrai often meditates with Nereus and is one of the few dragons that he listens to on alternate interpretations of his visions, finding her differing point of view to often be invaluable. Asrai's affection for Nereus is undeniable and her idol-worship even more so.
