Cyanide was born by chance in the diseased lands of the Wandering Contagion. Despite being a Wind dragon, she was destined to lead a clan in the unforgiving lands of the Scarred Wasteland. Her first years were the toughest, eating rot and leftovers from other dragons to survive. She was forced to mature fast, given the absence of a clan that could protect her. She ventured as a young dragon through the frontiers with Starfall Isles searching for less contaminated food. In one of her trips, she met a young guardian named Scorch. Scorch had a nest with his mate in the Wandering Contagion but liked to visit Starwood Strand and fraternize with Arcane dragons. He made sure that she was safe while hunting on her own since she refused to live with him and his mate. Cyanide grew strong and faster than most mirrors in her area so that she had been encouraged to join several packs of mirrors that she had encountered. She knew that leading a clan was a job for her and mirror packs don’t tend to have hierarchies like the one she had in mind. |
