Nakita encountered the clan in the form of a exploration group sent to the Southern Icefield. Admittedly she was a hard sell on the idea of a permanent home and constant food, having carved a decent life for herself consisting of daily travel with the occasional battle if she strayed into Beastclan territory or encountered an irate dragon. She was stocky, so she knew how to take care of herself. Finally though, she was convinced to come and at least observe the clan and maybe consider becoming an explorer for them, allowing her to see the world outside of the Icefield.

When she arrived, her habits didn't change a great deal. She did train with some of her potential allies on missions, displaying her techniques of freezing elements in ice crystals and laying traps for opponents who strayed too close and triggered them. Oddly enough, though she doesn't take part in gluttony or gaining weight, she will utilize magic to do so on other creatures. In a way, she embodied the clan's main reason for using such magic; to disable the enemy an give time for the user to escape. Perhaps that is another reason why she stayed; she finally encountered others who shared a similar ideology.
