Tezcatl, the Galvanometer

Tez is, quite simply, batshit crazy. A pearlcatcher with a unique intuition, she can accurately predict lightning strikes to within five yards, something critically necessary to the efficiency of the factory.

Spending most of her time hanging from the thirty foot wide copper ring encircling the very tip of the spire, she has earned the name Galvanometer in polite company and Spark-touched behind her back, though honestly, she really enjoys the latter.

Suspended from the ring by an intricate set of harnessing, Tez spins along it like a mad weather vain, pointing out the direction of the next strike for the collection team waiting below. With her predictions, the collection team is able to get the most out of every strike.

The downside to this is that she has been struck by lightning more times than any other dragon in the spire, though it doesn't seem to phase her. There's a chance the strikes are the cause of her thrill-seeking insanity, but most believe that she was crazy from the start.

She tends to speak so quickly that only the most attentive listener can catch what she's seeing and even then there's no guarantee they heard correctly. On quiet days, she'll unhook the shorter safety straps of her harness and launch herself off the copper ring, plummeting the thousand feet to the ground below until the long safety bungee hurls her back into the air. She calls it sky-diving and only grins when dragons look at her with a growing sense of concern and alarm.

When someone asks her about her prosthetics, she casually informs them that the life of a Galvanometer is fraught with peril and that lightning ate her legs. She usually ends these conversations with a mad cackle.
