Atum is the first son of Lilith and Samael, the only immortal son of Lilith, and named in honor of the great golden dragon Mushhush, which gave his mother immortality.
He inherited the demon side of his mother and was abandoned by his father due to his demonic nature. Atum grew up with his mother before he went his own ways. He settled down in Egypt where he was soon worshipped as god because of his inhuman abilities, strength and immortality and became king, creating a place to live for demons and humans alike. Some years later his brother Drakon joined him, but the harmony did not last long. They noticed that their father and other humans started revolting against the growing demon population, as well as the dragons slowly going extinct. Both brothers agreed that it would be best to separate humans from demons and dragons. Drakon started to find allies for their plan while his brother stayed in his kingdom, but before they could detail their plan further Atum noticed his father coming for the demons und his care. To protect his family he faces his father in the desert and, unable to hurt his own father, allowed himself to be killed. Atum had several children with several women and was a strict, but loving father. He was especially fond of his youngest daughters Bastet and Sachmet and taught human and demon children alike, if he found them curious and intelligent enough, to work for him once they were grown up.
Atum was widely known to be the string-puller in the back to bump his children and friends into making the right decisions and gathering important experiences.
Before his death he sealed part of his power in his advisor Heh, as well as in his daughter Sachmet.
