Fion's mother was an excavator. It only made sense she would be one, too. Sure, the Clan of Blessings was more of pirates and raiders, but they had settled into the Shattered Plains. Rock--and riches--abound. Fion herself wasn't particularly fond of the raiding ways, however. Her clan eventually wasn't very fond of her.

The Earth flight didn't need another digger. They certainly had that job fulfilled ten-times over and thus, Fion was at a loss... until she looked up. Just across the water, one could see the faint glitterings of the Crystalline Reaches and above them, tiny, immovable dots. At first, Fion thought she could settle for mining the crystal. However, once coming to the region, she was more in awe at Hoverview Vale. Floating earth was certainly a novelty she had to explore.

Lucky for her, there was a keep that lacked the manpower a certain snapper could provide...
