The first adopted son of Iskal and Rezim, Mercury could never sit still as a hatchling and accidentally ran away from the Starfall Isles as soon as he could run. However, he wasn't found by Iskal and her clan. He found them when he ran into a cave to escape a raging storm.

Rezim was the first to welcome him into the refuge of the clan and taught him basic alchemy skills and helped him to increase his speed and stamina, making him one of the fastest dragons of the clan and gifting him the task of clan messenger.

When Mercury is not out racing across all of Sornieth, he can be found playing with his Iridescent Scaleback familiar, making his favorite food (soylent red), running laps for fun throughout the clan's cave, or spending time with the clan's explorer and his mate, Muffin.
