Upon entering the Monastery, dragons have often been heard mumbling, "I can't help but feel like I'm being watched".

The unnerving presence felt by them is undoubtedly Trajan's cold eyes watching from afar, the Coatl nestled comfortably atop a ragged cliff or earthen spire. It is Trajan's business to note every coming and going from Deity's Rest. Every trader granted access to the clan has had their history traced and tracked by him, much to their unknowing. Every curious dragon with an adventuring spirit has had their demeanor noted, their visitations to vendors and temples meticulously recorded. Nothing, and certainly no one, gets past Trajan. Indeed, it is Trajan's business to ensure the highest degree of safety for all who reside in the Monastery.

Although he prefers not to dirty his claws, he is perfectly willing to fight when a threat is identified.There are very few who have seen Trajan in battle, and even fewer who dare speak of what they saw. He is an adept Plague sorcerer, capable of rending the very blood from a dragon's body in a thoroughly overdramatic fashion.

And so it is well advised that all should show the utmost respect when visiting the clan's much-loved temples, and not to cause any trouble for the residents here. If anyone is unlucky enough to make themselves unwanted, Trajan may suddenly appear as more than an unnerving presence watching from a distance, and instead one that is very much present in the flesh, claws, teeth, magic and all.
