Background Information

Luthien is the co-head of the clan, apart of the leader section of House Rose. He is the main coliseum fighter in the clan, and specializes in the Mire.

Lore

Luthien left any family he had behind in order to satisfy a nagging feeling he had—the sense that he should be somewhere else, doing something else, with other dragons. Like he had a purpose. He met Mayel in a certain spot in the Gladekeeper’s realm, and despite being her opposite felt drawn to her.

He made a place in his new home by fighting. It came naturally to him; like he had done it many times before. He made a career out of it, and gained a friendly rivalry with a gaoler who came to the clan as well. Rather notably, Luthien trains any dragons bound for the Gladekeeper’s service, and he only seems to leave the battlefield to take care of his family.

His children, both biological and adopted, respect him—although they do note he’s a bit distant. Luthien keeps a close eye on Tiay, feeling like he could break the community Mayel created.
