Moonshadow is a creature of the night, blending into darkness as he hunts for the clan. He is rarely, if ever, seen up and about during the daytime.

He doesn't care much for apparel, a holdover from the days where he had to blend into the night to stay alive, and only one piece is consistent. A perpetually dusty, raggedy shawl that he never takes off. He won't say where he got it, only that it is a treasured gift from someone he cared about many years ago.

He used to be a wanderer, going wherever he pleased whenever he pleased, but that all changed when he found Nacht's egg. She was alone, without someone to take care of her until she hatched, so Moonshadow stayed. He cared for her, made sure she hatched safely, and took her with him as his ward to find a clan. It would be safer for the hatchling to be with many dragons who could help her grow up happy and healthy. He met Selene along the way, and together the group of three joined the Thunderhead clan.
