Originating within the boundaries of Ironwood Clan, the Twin River Dragons are a variant of the Forest and River Dragons. Their mottled bodies and wings aid them in moving through the forest undergrowth unseen and virtually silent, whether it be keeping watch or stalking prey. The hatchlings of these dragons fill their Capsule bellies with water from the Twin Rivers, a river system that runs through the entirety of Ironwood’s territory, within the first few days of life. The source of the Twin Rivers is a large wellspring that also lies within the territory, and the spring is said to hold water blessed by the Gladekeeper herself. Afterwards, hatchlings are then bathed in the waters of the Twin Rivers and named before leaving their nest and traveling into the world. To drink the water within their Capsule is a pleasant surprise: the water is cool, fresh, and leaves the drinker feeling rejuvenated. The Twin River Dragons love returning to the Twin Rivers at least once a year to meet offspring, greet one another, and refresh the water within their Capsules. Twin River Dragons possess a strong desire to travel and see the world, and enjoy greatly the company of other Nature Flight Dragons, but unlike some, do not possess a bitterness for the Plague Flight; the father of this particular pairing is from the Abiding Boneyard himself and together the two parents help instill a tolerance and acceptance in their young for all breeds and Flights before sending them out into the world. To summon the attention of a Twin River Dragon and earn its favor is said to bring good luck to any clan that possesses one. Offerings they enjoy include bottles of fresh water left out under a full moon, Tallow Candles, Ancestral Incense and Wildwood Moss. They are strongly attracted to Simple Iron Jewelry, such as the Wing Bangles, Simple Iron Necklace, and Wing Cuffs, etc.
