As a hatchling, then Tobi was found completely alone and scared, with no parents in sight. She was taken in by Clan Whimsical, and adopted by two dragons; Eliza and Tint. She gained two adoptive older siblings (Apple and Tab) out of this, and loved to play with them. They had lots of fun together, often having Apple play music while Tab and Tobi sang along.
Toby also learned that she loved to garden, and slowly grew farther away from her adoptive family as she grew up, focusing most of her time on her garden.
But one day, very suddenly, then Tab died in a fight with another dragon of the lair.
This broke Apple entirely, to the point of insanity. Tobi and her parents tried to comfort the mourning fae, but nothing worked.
Tobi grew depressed, and seeing Apple now only filled her with guilt for not being there when her family needed her. She finally had enough of this, bid her remaining family goodbye, and left to look for another home.
Hopefully she’ll find a place to stay, but even if she doesn’t, then she’ll just wander for as long as she needs to to escape the crushing guilt..
