A disturbed and angry young Imperial. With a complicated childhood, he never really learned how to properly express his emotions. After running away from his homeland, he was found by an Elysia Clan patrol, and taken in (despite his rather violent protests). After a discussion with Minerva, he was granted asylum, and found to his surprise that he actually fit in rather well here. Although he originally hated Ash, recently their verbal sparring has taken on a more 'witty banter' aspect, and the two seem to be growing on each other considerably. However, Hades is still prone to fits of violent rage in which he will attack equipment, familiars, and dragons indiscriminately. Fortunately, the Clan is well prepared to handle such dangers.

While off exploring the world (as Minerva instructed--she hoped to give him some sort of worldly wisdom and calm him down), he happened upon a Nature Clan and was entranced by a beautiful dragoness there. Instead of introducing himself like a normal dragon would, he promptly decided to kidnap her and bring her back to the lair as his own. Minerva was understandably not the most enthused about this entire fiasco--another diplomatic disaster for her to handle. After some very serious and possibly strongly worded talks, Hades was given a thorough reprimanding and his prize, Persephone, surprisingly chose to stay a while longer.

Although Hades has evidently been sweet on her from the start, she has recently started to take more of an interest in him. She is the only one who can calm his violent fits of rage, and seems to be using this as an excuse to delay her departure further and further. Some speculate that her departure may be cancelled entirely soon.
