[ Lore ]

Roulade is a sturdy evocation mage widely regarded as one of the toughest professors of the college. However, his students tend to be quite proficient at evocation.

In his seemingly rare free time, he enjoys sitting with a cup of tea and crafting intricate models of real-life things, like a waterfall trapped in a glass bubble or magical automatons. He is usually very serious, so his humor takes nervous students aback. They're usually surprised meeting him outside of class as he's rather quiet and noncombative, in direct opposition to his strict rulings in class.

He believes strongly that magic should not be fooled around with, but this is a bit of a lost cause. Because of this, he tends to look down on "softer" magics like spellsinging or divination, but does his best to speak of them politely.

Lucien has an intense interest in Roulade.

In recent years, he's moved to teach at the mysterious Underside University at Eidolon. It's a strange environment for sure, but the magic-warped campus architecture is simply fascinating.
