2 : something illusory and unattainable like a mirage
A peaceful solution proved to be a mirage.


Personality/Background: Mirage is a bit laid back, forgetful, and quicker to action than thought, which has earned the fighter a few unfortunate scars, including the one that damaged his right eye. He is a battlemage that relies as heavily on his illusion magic as his claws and teeth. His illusions often involve shifting and swaying plants, unbearable heat, or blissfully cool water to either scare away opponents or draw them close. He has grown close to his two teammates, Allure, and Figment. The land of his clan has grown toxic and as poisonous as the flowers that fill the gardens and young dragons are encouraged to either leave outright or to toughen themselves before returning, least the toxins infect the young and the weak and lead them to an early grave among the thorns.
