B I O G R A P H Y

Seraph was awoken at one of the highest peaks of the Starfall Isles, closest to the sky, the sun and all its clouds. He could not remember his birth, or looking around at the world with small eyes, or using taking flight with small wings. When he awoke, he was in a body that dwarfed his surroundings, a heat that seemed to be in his very veins slowly fading until it was the warmth of the sun on his scales. His head pounded, and he realized that the last thing he remembered was another's voice panicked in his head but it was gone now. He felt so utterly empty, devoid of all his memories, of a feeling his body had clearly grown used to that he could not remember but was not there anymore. In him though, was a draw, like he needed to find something. So, he slinked down from his ledge, and began to search.

First, he visited the Ashfall Waste. Seeking a warmth there but not even the lava quite matched what his body wanted. He tried to mingle with the clans but blacksmithing wasn't something he found love in, and soon he realized this was not what he was searching for. He then travelled to the Sunbeam Ruins, searching for the feeling still. The Light washed over his scales and wings in the purest form and it reminded him of something that laid like a word on the tip of his tongue. The libraries and archives of the clans there led him closer to it like a starving stray to meat and yet, he could still not find the memories, and after a while it happened the same. It became not enough.

He followed the feeling of his very soul to the Viridian Labyrinth, weaving through the trees until he came to swampy lands. There, in the trees and the chest-deep water, he found a Gaoler, massive with red eyes. Something in Seraph reacted to this sight, a deeper recognition as he approached the other, lowering his head. There was some wariness, some tense and barely hidden aggression but soon it smoothed over if only so Shrike could lead the Imperial back to Fenrisulfur. There, he was initiated into the league of warriors of Fenrisulfur, passing any of the trails they threw at him with more than flying colors.

_CURRENT_

____Seraph stands as one of the scariest dragons in Fenrisulfur, even if he may not seem it. He is an Arcane dragon who has warped the innate power in his soul to bend to the element of a kind of magical fire. This was through many injuries and long bouts of training, but in the end, it fulfills what his body searches for, what his soul and claws remember that he cannot bring to his mind.

____Seraph spends most of his days at the library, or in the labs, watching a new unit called 'Samael' through the glass. He was the one to oversee the development of the dragon, searching for something that seemed to be torn out of him just like everything else. The scientists watch him stare through the glass, claws placed upon it with a certain look and often they know better than to interfere with him. So Seraph is often left alone in the echoes of a lab, staring at a husk that may never be truly what his soul claws and grabs for.

_PERSONALITY_

____Seraph is a kind and compassionate dragon, extending a hand to those in need and making sure he is always an open ear. Whatever animosity he and Shrike had has faded, and they're quite close. During his time at Fenrisulfur, he also grew close to a dragon named Lupus, all three of them having a draw to each other that they can't explain at all. After a while, they all stopped trying, and simply would accompany each other on menial tasks to try and soothe the common feeling.

____Seraph is also a very smart dragon, from engineering an entirely new way to unleash the Arcane power from inside him, to being someone the writers and scientists of the clan can gain suggestions from and bounce ideas off of. He keeps a calm composure, no matter who he is dealing with, most of his aggression if he has any hidden behind that stare and a well-meaning, toothy smile. He enjoys the simple pleasures of life, such as the stars in the sky at night, the way dragons work together, and the sun shining off his scales.
