Claims to be an old, retired traveler resting where his heart is most content
For some reason he seems to bring an awe-inspiring presence wherever he goes, but he doesn't see this as significant
yet the presence of that old heart shines unrivaled through the scarred skin and bones, like an unknown light spotted in the sky while it descends beneath the ladder of stars, under the clouds to slowly come to rest on that dark plain
Sights and stories are its essence, the only reason it will never cease to burn
If one listens carefully they may hear the ethereal voices, whispers of the stories that have shaped, torn, and rebuilt worlds
If one closes their eyes all of the sights, sounds, souls of one lifetime will flash in an instant
A soul that remains constant yet ever changing throughout the most merciless events of this world could be a mockery of Time itself
But this old heart says that this is the essence of every traveler
perhaps a secret dream of every soul, too
He still wonders if we should take it so seriously..
