Colors and what they mean:

Red: Passion, fire, hotheadedness. Emotional, difficult to control. Fury, wrath. Warmth. Vitality. Short lived and quick. But also, beware. Danger. Stop and think. Jumping to conclusions or making hasty decisions can leaved you burned.

Blue: Calm, cool. Knowledge. Wide and vast like sea and sky. Nurturing and powerful. Fluid. However caution. Care must be taken not to linger too long. It is very wide and very deep and one can easily become lost in the pursuit. Hasty decisions are dangerous yes, but decisions get made for you if you hesitate too long. The wind and sea will take you wherever they want if you don't man your sails. You cannot hope to control your surroundings, but you can control yourself.

Green: Steadfast and stubborn. Vitality. Slow and rooted. Inevitable change. Abundant. Luck. The leaf that life depends on. Nourishment and strong. Growth. Do not become too stuck in your ways, always be able to adapt to change. The trees may seem stable but even they will make changes for their betterment or they will perish. The space they once took up will be filled quickly and life will form anew. Sometimes better and stronger than before. You will be rewarded for your efforts. Nature can be cruel and unpredictable, and sometimes it is best to take the step back and just. Breath.

Yellow: Warmth and happiness. Light. Nostalgia. Sometimes the path forward is by remembering where you've been. Who you are, what you've seen. Do not linger or you will become blinded and lose sight of the things really important.

Purple: Color of bravery and of kings. Of fruit and of bruises. Chances taken. Tired and fatigue. It hurts now, but it will heal. Rest. Blood must always return to the heart. Are you better for it?

White: Sterile. Stagnant. Too much. Stifled. Easily stained. Fear and paranoia. Stiff. Tense. The sugar that rots and the salt that impedes. Cold. Winter. Death. A blank page. Life anew, the backbone. The teeth that gnash and the fungus that grows, irreverent. The smoke that wafts and fills. Don't be afraid to make your mark. Don't let yourself become stifled. Move.

Black: Dark. Death. Decay. The cycle. Vast. Embracing. Comforting. The mark made. The welcoming night. The passage of time. The shadows on the wall. A Family. The stars are only visible because they're held by the vastness of space. You are all the things you are, but also all the things you are not. Cycles can be difficult, but time marches on regardless and you aren't alone. Sleep. Dawn will come.
