Chagrin per Hedera
Her Ladyship, High Chieftain, leader and overseer of Clan ab Hedera, the Clan out of Ivy

Scouted by healer Tocks, inviting this scarred and battle worn dragon into the clan Hedera was not an act of strategy, but rather pity.

After dragging herself from the wastelands and landing her body among the lush earth of the glade, Chagrin had planned on admitting defeat, dedicating her life to serving under the Gladekeeper as an ostracized, red-eye'd traitor.

But it did not come to pass. On her way to turn herself in for servitude, she was met with a strange, glittering eye'd fae dragon who introduced herself as Tocks. She quickly learned that Tocks had become a de facto leader of a small clan in the glade, and was looking for more members to help them sustain themselves. Also, Chagrin's tattered appearance did not escape her, and considering herself a healer of sorts, Tocks invited the dragon in to help her rest, and to treat her wounds.

Chagrin had been skeptical, but had nothing left to lose. Casting her hubris aside she followed the fae dragon home, and then quickly befriended her.

As their time together increased, so did the pair's discussions about the state of the clan itself. Though it was doing well it was by no means thriving, and Tocks blamed herself for this. she never planned to run a cave, she'd only wanted company.

Chagrin however, was of a tactical mind. Tocks soon learned to come to her with questions and concerns about the wellbeing of their group, and it seemed Chagrin's answers were always more than satisfying. It wasn't long before Tocks stepped back to fill the roll of healer in their clan, and hand its wellbeing over to Her Ladyship.

There were protests, not all members remained when they were told they'd be operating under a plague dragon's will. But Chagrin stood strong, and it wasn't long before the small group of well-off dragons became a healthy, thriving clan.

And Chagrin leads them with pride. Unapologetic but not unreasonable (unless she feels she needs to be,) the dragon's harsh upbringing does show itself now and again. But everything she does is overshadowed by the work she puts in, organizing and running her clan.

Pride restored, her place is among the thriving green earth, where her glorious clan seems to grow and expand like ivy vines ever expanding their reach.
